Chicken Curry avec Pomme De Terre

 

Chicken is the frequently  consumed by humans. There are differnet way to cook chicken. Every nation have their own receipe to prepare this meat. Here I wiould like to give the quick view to make the delicious chicken in the newari way.

The chicken which you found on the local market  doesnot taste so good. In Germany and the western countries you will also found the organic chicken, which is delicious. If you really  want to enjoy the chicken, get the oraganic chicken.

Ingredients(2-3 Person with Rice)

1000  gm Chicken with bones

3 Table Vergetable Oil

2 Fresh Tomatoes finely chopped

3 Potato dice chopped

2 Red Onion finely chopped

3 Tejpat ( Cinnamomum Tamala)

1/5 Teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)

1 bunch Green onions finely chopped

1/2 Teaspoon mined Garli

1/2 Teaspoon mined Ginger

1/3 Teaspoon Cucumin

1 Teaspoon hot chilly powder

1 Teaspoon Curry Powder

1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala

Salt according to your taste

Prepartion

Heat the non stick pot with oil. Add the Chicken and stir fry  with Haldi, Teejpat  and Salt for about 10 mintues. Add Onion, Cucumin, Curry Powder, Garam Masala and hot chilly powder and stir it  for 5 minutes, add potatoes and tomatoes. Cooked it until the tomato turns into  paste form. Add ginger and garlic,  one cup of water  into the Chicken  to have the soup for rice. Cover the pot for 20 mintues and cooked it on medium heat.

Now Add the finely Chopped green onions and cooks for the further minutes.

The Chicken is ready to Serve. The estimate cooking time is about 40 mintues.
